SunArk generates 50-80,000 kilowatt hours per annum (dependent upon local weather and radiation patterns) using its custom-designed photovoltaic system. This renewable solar power can be used within the SunArk for many specialist applications, or it can be distributed externally by AC or DC to nearby buildings, tents, factories, shops, storage areas etc. SunArk answers many of the world’s needs for developing countries’ off-grid areas.

Description

Description SUNx - Strong Universal Network - is a new system for Tourism destinations and stakeholders to build Climate Resilience in line with the targets of the Paris Agreement through “Climate Friendly Travel.”
Objectives Focus on Climate Resilient Impact-Travel.
Activities As the Network scales, it will be:

• A primary climate resilience contact point for the Travelism sector, for governments, for environmental and NGO communities, as well as for citizens. • A standard bearer for renewable energy, with their solar panels and battery systems • A system to help turn global and national targets into measurable action on the ground, that accentuate the positive impacts of the sector • A response node in disaster management systems. • A culture, art and education focal point

SUNX has developed SunArk, that is a multi-purpose building which can be transported anywhere by road and by sea. It can be constructed by unskilled local labour, using simple tools. It needs no traditional foundations or floor slab.
