|Description=The Coalition for Sustainable Energy Access was announced at the Climate Action Summit to meet the energy needs of the world’s population with clean energy. The initiative pledges to share experiences and best practices through the strengthening of south to south cooperation and the transfer of existing practices from the most advanced countries of the south to the least advanced ones (LDCs and ODCs). The Coalition will not be an implementing body but rather act as a facilitator, by accompanying LDCs and ODCs in better understanding and formulating their needs and better selecting the most appropriate institutions that can best respond to those needs. In other words, the Coalition will act as the voice of the LDCs and ODCs and will be a networking platform that provides linkages and assistance.
