Revision as of 19:37, 5 December 2014

This Climate Initiatives Database is being developed by Ecofys, the University of Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership and the World Resource Institute through a project funded by the Nordic Council of Ministers.

The Website is currently a work in progress or "open beta" release and presents interim results of this ongoing project. The information included on initiatives in this first phase is a "snapshot" drawn information provided on publicly available websites and documents. Information was gathered during October/November 2014 and the authors have attempted to faithfully represent basic information about the initiatives in order to steer the user to the initiative and its work.

Currently, this is a single layer data base, i.e. one form that is to be filled for each initiative. In the future, the database can be expanded to include layers for different types of initiatives, tracking the initiatives over time or linking individual countries, regions, and companies.
