Description | Despite the availability of clean technology, the majority of the 1,500 billion bricks used each year are produced using polluting kilns. |

Activities | The Coalition takes action through initiatives, which are partner-led and designed to provide transformative action in sectors or as cross-cutting efforts to reduce methane, black carbon and hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs).
These actions include: Training and institutional strengthening; Support for developing laws, regulations, policies and plans; Technology demonstrations; Political outreach; Awareness raising campaigns; Co-funding and catalysed funding; Development of knowledge resources and tools. |
