Description

Description The Investment Leaders Group (ILG) is a global network of pension funds, insurers and asset managers committed to advancing the practice of responsible investment. It is a voluntary initiative, driven by its members, facilitated by the Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership (CISL), and supported by academics in the University of Cambridge.

The ILG´s mission is to help shift the investment chain towards responsible, long-term value creation, such that economic, social and environmental sustainability are delivered as an outcome of the investment management process as investors go about generating robust, long-term returns.

Objectives To explore the degree to which economic, social and environmental factors can influence long-term value creation and become a more integral part of the investment process.
Activities The first workstream will concentrate on developing an understanding of the value of environmental and social factors in investment. The second workstream will look at how investors could measure and communicate how environmental and social factors can contribute towards a more stable economy and society.
